I have always had an interest in health care, but I quickly learned I wanted to pursue a career in the non-clinical aspect rather than the clinical aspect of health care. During a course I took sophomore year of college, Healthcare Delivery in the U.S., I learned more about long-term care and how difficult it can be for the elderly to pay for their care. This led me to have a strong interest in pursing a career in long-term care and making a difference for the future of long-term care.
